For American plugs like Champion the higher the number the hotter the plug for NGK plugs the numbering system they use is opposite USA with higher being a colder plug. Colder plugs dissipate heat from the center electrode more than a hotter plug. So for the NGK plug the 7 is colder running plug than the 6. Higher boost pressure usually requires a colder plug to assist in preventing detonation and/or preignition. As to which to use a TT owner needs to advise you, but I would select a colder plug for the high boost you are running. Also the type of use for the car will have a great deal to do with the heat range selected, ex. drag racing, short track or long distance circuit. Smaller gaps are usually used to assure firing the plug for high boost pressures. A TT owner needs to advise you on what gap they use.
